Oct 30, Kathmandu - Four Nepali Congress members—Binita Khadka, Santosh Chalise, Mohan Basnet and Umesh Chandra Yadav—will not be sworn in as central committee members because cases involving them are pending in court.

The party’s central office said the decision was made ahead of the oath-taking ceremony for newly elected central committee members, scheduled for Thursday at the party’s Sanepa office.
