Oct 20, Kathmandu - President Donald Trump said the US was continuing to hit Iran “economically and militarily” hard.
He also praised Russian President Vladimir Putin for his recent distancing from Iran and for “doing nothing” in the conflict, Al Jazeera reported.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi said Iran and Russia had the strongest strategic relationship in history after talks with his Russian counterpart Sergei Lavrov in Tehran.
On the other hand, Iran’s IRGC spokesman Brigadier-General Hossein Mohebbi warned that Iran would target undersea communications cables in the Strait of Hormuz if a US attack affected Iran’s regional security.
Meanwhile, a missile attack targeting Houthi rebels in Yemen’s Shabwa province killed 58 people as new recruits were gathering.
According to the governor of the province, more than 200 people were injured. He said that many of the injured were in critical condition.
At least five Palestinians, including two children, have been killed in similar Israeli attacks across the Gaza Strip, medical sources said.
