Oct 10, Kathmandu - After the Prithvi Highway was blocked, long and short-distance vehicles leaving from the new bus park in Gongabu, Kathmandu, have been stopped inside the bus park.

After the highway was closed, traffic on Kanti Lokpath, which was used as an alternative route, has increased, affecting transport operations.

Passengers returning home to celebrate Dashain have been in trouble due to the stoppage of vehicles. Passengers who had reached the bus park with advance tickets are also confused as their journey is uncertain.

The problem is expected to persist until the road is repaired and transport operations are made smooth. Passengers have been urged to get information about the road conditions before traveling.
