Sep 19, Kathmandu - The bodies of 11 individuals lost during the flash flood in Rasuwa’s Bhote Koshi on Bhadra 10 have been retrieved today. The flood had caused several people to go missing amid ongoing construction activities at the Upper Trishuli-1 Hydropower Project.

A joint rescue team, including project representatives, conducted search and rescue operations, discovering the bodies trapped inside the mesh of the Audit-3 tunnel and buried in the mud. The Nepal Army confirmed that the bodies were found lodged within the tunnel’s mesh and covered with mud.
