Sep 10, Kathmandu - Amid ongoing gas shortages in the market, students associated with the Akhil Krantikari have staged a symbolic protest by cooking food at the entrance of Ratna Rajyalaxmi College. On Thursday, students prepared rice with yogurt and vegetables and potatoes using firewood at the college gate. They sat there and ate the food, expressing their frustration over the government's inability to resolve the fuel crisis.
The shortage has severely impacted daily life, prompting some students to abandon their studies and stand in long lines for gas. Many have stopped cooking at their homes, and some are resorting to eating instant noodles and biscuits to survive. The protest highlights the widespread hardship faced by students due to the ongoing gas crisis.
