Sep 07, Kathmandu - President Ram Chandra Poudel conducted an on-site inspection of the flood-affected regions along the Bote Koshi River. The President reached Nuwakot on Monday to assess the situation firsthand.

During his visit, President Poudel gathered detailed information on rescue operations, relief distribution, holding centers, and rehabilitation efforts. He also held discussions with security officials and stakeholders at the Sri No. 1 Military Training Center in Bidur, Nuwakot.

Following the inspection and consultations, President Poudel expressed his intention to visit Rasuwa to better understand the challenges faced by flood victims there. His visit underscores the government’s commitment to addressing the impacts of natural disasters and supporting affected communities.
