Sep 06, Kathmandu - China has launched an international project to build a 3D satellite network between the Earth and the Moon to monitor the activity of the Sun and monitor powerful explosions in space. The project plans to deploy dozens of small satellites around the Earth to systematically study the space environment of the Earth-Moon region.

According to China's Deep Space Exploration Laboratory, there are plans to send 30 CubeSats into highly elliptical orbits around the Earth within the next four years.

CubeSats are satellites that are small in size and can be built at a relatively low cost. The project will be led by the Deep Space Exploration Laboratory.

According to information released on Friday, Egypt, Indonesia, Senegal, Serbia and Thailand will also participate in this project along with China.

China aims to conduct systematic scientific observations in the vast space region between the Earth and the Moon through this satellite network. The laboratory claims that this project will fill the global gap in systematic observations of the cislunar space, that is, the Earth-Moon region.
