Aug 06, Kathmandu - A popular social media influencer was shot and killed during a live broadcast in Sinaloa, Mexico.

Cesar Gastelum, 25, who has nearly 600,000 followers on TikTok, was filming a video with friends when attackers on a motorcycle opened fire on him.

Gastelum was live streaming outside a fast-food restaurant with two friends. During the stream, they appeared dressed as delivery drivers as part of a social media challenge.

Suddenly, two assailants on a motorcycle approached. The person sitting behind fired a shot directly into Gastelum's head. The live stream was abruptly cut off immediately after the incident.
