Jul 31, Kathmandu - Bollywood actress Shilpa Shetty was seen at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu without prior publicity. She arrived from India on Friday afternoon, reportedly on a personal visit that was kept under wraps. Unlike other Indian celebrities of her stature, who often attract significant media attention when visiting Nepal, Shilpa’s arrival went largely unnoticed.

However, it has now been confirmed that she is in Nepal for a program scheduled to run until Sunday.

Shilpa Shetty is in Nepal to participate in the ‘EMF ACE Global Convention and Awards 2026,’ which is currently underway at the Soaltee Hotel from Friday. The event is expected to feature prominent Bollywood personalities, including actors Shakti Kapoor and Vickrant Mesi, according to organizers. Renowned actress Manisha Koirala is also participating in the conference.
