Jul 26, Kathmandu - After remaining largely out of the public eye for a few days following the FIFA World Cup final, Argentinian captain Lionel Messi has finally been seen among fans. The football legend was spotted attending a match at a lower division club, Leoenses FC, located near his hometown of Rosario.

Clad in a black hoodie, the 39-year-old Messi arrived at the Antonio Di Giacomo Stadium in Rosario. Initially, he intended to watch the game discreetly as a regular spectator. However, once seen on the stadium balcony, fans recognized him immediately. They greeted him enthusiastically, waving and cheering as hundreds gathered outside the stadium to catch a glimpse.

Currently, Messi is taking some time off to relax with his family following the World Cup. As part of his rest plan, he will also sit out this year's Major League Soccer (MLS) All-Star game.
