The film will be directed by Shawn Levy, who previously helmed the blockbuster "Deadpool 3" (2024), which became the highest-grossing R-rated film to date. Gosling and Levy are currently collaborating on the upcoming "Star Wars: Starfighter," with Jonathan Tropper penning the screenplay.
Meanwhile, director Ryan Coogler has announced he will helm "Black Panther 3," set for release in 2028. British actor David Janson will portray the new king of Wakanda, succeeding the late Chadwick Boseman, who passed away in 2020 due to cancer.
Previously, Nicolas Cage portrayed Ghost Rider in the 2007 film and its 2011 sequel, "Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance." Combined, these films grossed over $361 million worldwide and centered around stunt motorcyclist Johnny Blaze.
