Jul 25, Kathmandu - The Nepali film ‘Gauthali’ experienced an unexpected box office explosion on Saturday, with early reports indicating remarkable earnings. According to sources from the box office, the film collected approximately NPR 10 million in just a few hours from morning until 1 PM.

The film, which was released last Friday, had already crossed the NPR 40 million mark by the end of that day. Following today’s surge, ‘Gauthali’ is projected to achieve substantial box office success, making it one of the high-grossing Nepali films in recent times.

‘Gauthali’ features an ensemble cast including Arun Chhetri, Simran Khadka, Madan Krishna Shrestha, Prakash Ghimire, Lunibha Tuladhar, Rabindra Jha, Ishwari Baral, Sanjog Rasaili, Sitadevi Timalsina, and Laxminath Timalsina.

Based on a story by Dr. Bhola Rijal, the screenplay and dialogues are a collaborative effort by Dr. Kapil Rijal, Nishchal Kunwar, Neeraj Nepal, and Giriraj Ghimire.
