Jul 25, Kathmandu - The parliamentary faction of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has strongly denounced the recent attack on Member of Parliament Ganesh Poudel from Rautahat-4.

In a statement issued today by Chief Whip Kabindra Burlakoti, the party condemned the incident that occurred on (Shrawan 7) as Poudel was returning from a public engagement with citizens in Rautahat.

While the party upholds the right to dissent within a democratic system, it emphasized that violence, misconduct, or disrespect towards elected representatives is unacceptable.

The party called on the government to conduct an impartial investigation, punish those responsible according to the law, and ensure the safety and security of lawmakers.
