Bir Hospital Forms 11-Member Complaint Redressal Team to Enhance Service Transparency and Patient Satisfaction

Jul 24, Kathmandu - Bir Hospital, operated under the National Academy of Medical Sciences (NAMS), has established an 11-member Complaint Hearing Team to systematically address grievances, complaints, and suggestions from service beneficiaries. The move aims to make hospital services more transparent, effective, and patient-friendly.

The committee, named the 'Complaint and Grievance Management and Redressal Committee,' is committed to ensuring that every voice is heard and every complaint is resolved. Dr. Prakash Budhathoki has been appointed as the chief officer responsible for listening to grievances. The team also includes members Dr. Anip Joshi, Dr. Narendra Khnal, Dr. Rajendra Jha, Dr. Manish Bajracharya, Dr. Suvaj Bhattarai, Siddharth Ranjit, Sunita Neupane, Tara Bahadur Kuwar, Purnima Sival, and Vidhyabhushan Bajgai.

According to hospital officials, grievances, complaints, and suggestions received from patients will serve as vital inputs for service improvement. The committee will actively review and address feedback promptly, aiming to enhance the quality of care and increase public trust in hospital services.
