Jul 21, Kathmandu - The Nepali national cricket team is set to begin their ICC World Cup League-2 tri series campaign with a match against Namibia. The match will be played at the Sportpark Maarschalkerweerd in Utrecht, Netherlands, where Namibia won the toss and chose to field first. Nepal will bat first in this crucial encounter.

Nepal has eight matches remaining in League-2, with the last two series to be played on foreign soil. The team recently finished their home series against the United States and Scotland, collecting six points from those matches. 

Nepal is scheduled to face the Netherlands on Wednesday at home, followed by matches against Namibia next Monday and the Netherlands again on Wednesday to conclude the series.

Ahead of the league, the Nepali team played two practice matches against jersey partners, winning both convincingly.
