Nepali Hit Film "Malati Mangale" to Premiere in Australia with Star Performance by Ram Krishna Dhakal

Jul 20, Kathmandu - The acclaimed Nepali film "Malati Mangale," produced under the banner of Rani Films and featuring renowned singer Ram Krishna Dhakal, is set to have its Australian premiere. Before the screening, a special red carpet premiere event will take place in Sydney, accompanied by a live performance by Dhakal.

Organized by Mount Pumori Events, the event will be held at the Grand Palace Event Hall, located in a densely Nepali-populated urban area. The red carpet premiere is scheduled for July 25, with Dhakal's live performance and direct interactions about the film.

The movie, which has already been released in Nepal, is currently showing in the United States. Following its American screenings, the organizers plan to showcase it across various cities in Australia. Sobhit Basnet, the film’s director, shared that before the red carpet event, Dhakal will perform live and engage with fans through a Q&A session about the film.

Director Basnet emphasized that screening "Malati Mangale" in Australia is part of an effort to promote Nepali cinema, foster its growth, and strengthen connections among the Nepali community abroad. Ram Krishna Dhakal has already arrived in Sydney for the event, and he praised the film as an excellent production for cinephiles.
