Prime Minister Shah to Hold Key Meeting with Capital Market and Insurance Stakeholders

Jul 20, Kathmandu - Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to hold a special meeting today at 12:00 noon with key personalities from the capital market, securities, and insurance sectors.

The meeting, organized at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers' Office in Singha Durbar, will bring together influential figures including Gopal Bhatt, Chairman of the Nepal Securities Board (SEBON); Amrit Lamsal, Chairman of Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE); Sagar Dhakal, President of the Stock Brokers Association of Nepal; Sandeep Jalaan of Nasa Securities; former CEO of NEPSE, Citaram Thapaliya; Navaraj Silwal, Head of Nepal Life Insurance; and Maheshwar Lal Shrestha, CEO of Citizens Stock Dealer Company Ltd. Additionally, Priyadaraj Regmi and Ambika Prasad Poudel are also expected to participate.

The discussions will focus on the current state of the capital market, strengthening of securities and insurance sectors, policy reforms, and various contemporary issues affecting the overall national economy.
