Government Issues Final Call for Landless Dalits, Squatters, and Settlers to Submit Requests

Jul 20, Kathmandu - The government has issued a last call for landless Dalits, squatters, and informal settlers to submit their requests. The Land Issue Resolution Committee has called for applications to allocate land to landless Dalits and squatters, as well as to organize settlements for informal occupants.

Local-level authorities have announced that landless Dalits, squatters, and informal settlers must submit their applications using the prescribed format within 35 days, starting from the 4th of Shrawan. The applications are to be submitted through designated ward-level data collectors appointed by local authorities.

A notice has been published instructing applicants to submit their requests at the designated locations within their respective wards. 

Interested applicants are advised to check the official notice for details on which local bodies are requiring applications.
