PM Chairs 26th Meeting of National Medical Education Commission, Approves New Fund Management Guidelines

Jul 09, Kathmandu - The 26th meeting of the National Medical Education Commission was held today under the chairmanship of Prime Minister Balendra Shah at the Prime Minister’s Office.

The meeting approved the “Procedures for Operation of the Medical Education Commission Fund, 2083,” aimed at making fund management more organized, transparent, and effective.

Dr. Devendra Khati, the newly appointed Vice-Chairman of the Commission, presented the proposal for the approval of these procedures, which was unanimously endorsed by all members.

Minister of Health and Food Safety Nisha Mehta and Minister of Education and Sports Sasmita Pokharel participated as co-chairs. Other officials and members of the Commission were also present at the meeting.
