Jul 07, Kathmandu - Dr. Devendra Khatri has been appointed as the Vice Chairman of the Medical Education Commission. Prime Minister and Commission Chairman Balen Shah officially appointed Dr. Khatri to the position.
Today, the newly appointed Vice Chairman was presented with the appointment letter by Sasmit Pokhrel, Minister of Education and Sports and Co-Chair of the Commission, at the Ministry.

The appointment follows the government's issuance of a special ordinance to address the removal of public officials from their posts, which resulted in the dismissal of several officials, including Dr. Anjani Kumar Jhal.
Since then, the Vice Chairman position of the Commission has remained vacant.
