Effective Wednesday, airlines have revised their fares, with the fuel surcharge decreasing by up to NPR 2,335.

Under the new fare structure, the surcharge for flights on the Nepalgunj–Bhadrapur route has dropped from NPR 15,725 to NPR 13,390. Similarly, Kathmandu–Dhangadhi fares have been reduced from NPR 11,885 to NPR 10,120, Kathmandu–Surkhet from NPR 9,295 to NPR 7,915, and the Mountain Flight fare from NPR 9,235 to NPR 7,860.

The CAAN stated that the total airfare is determined by adding fuel surcharge and other applicable charges, and airlines are not permitted to charge above the maximum set fare.
