Brazilian Football Superstar Neymar Donates Over $250,000 to Aid Venezuela Earthquake Victims

Jun 29, Kathmandu - Brazilian football icon Neymar Jr. has contributed more than $250,000 to support earthquake victims in Venezuela, according to reports. 

Citing Spanish media outlet El Surmario, the Times of India noted that Neymar made the donation to assist rescue efforts and humanitarian aid in the crisis-hit country.

In a statement, Neymar expressed his solidarity, saying, "My heart is with the people of Venezuela."

The earthquake that struck Venezuela has reportedly claimed the lives of over 1,400 people, with more than 40,000 others still missing.
