Jun 12, Kathmandu - The government has decided to extend the deadline for the task force preparing the discussion paper on constitutional amendments. A meeting held at the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers' Office on Friday approved extending the task force's tenure until the end of Asadha 2083.

Main Highlights of the Cabinet Meeting:

1. The deadline for the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers' task force preparing the constitutional amendment discussion paper has been extended until the end of Ashad 2083.
2. The government will implement the recommendations of the High-Level Committee (Rawal Committee) on the investigation and protection of government and public land, as per the 2052 report, directing the Ministry of Land Management, Cooperatives, Federal Affairs, and General Administration to do so.
3. Ramesh Kumar Dhital of Sindhupalchok has been appointed as the Chairperson of the Written Board.
