The hilly and mountainous areas of the country are generally cloudy and the Terai areas are partly cloudy. Light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning is occurring at a few places in Koshi Province and one or two places in Gandaki Province.

This afternoon, it will be generally cloudy in the mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces and the rest of the mountainous areas. It will be partly cloudy in the mountainous areas of Madhesh Province, Lumbini, Karnali and Sudurpaschim Provinces and the rest of the Terai areas. There is a possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall and snowfall with thunder and lightning at a few places in the mountainous and hilly areas of Koshi Province, Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces and one or two places in the rest of the mountainous and hilly areas. There is a possibility of hot days in some places in the Terai region of Madhesh Province, including Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini and Sudurpaschim Provinces.

Tonight, the mountainous region of the country including Koshi Province will be generally cloudy, the hilly region will be partly cloudy, and the Terai region will be mainly clear. There is a possibility of light rainfall and snowfall with thunder and lightning at a few places in Koshi Province, the mountainous and hilly regions of Bagmati and Gandaki Provinces, and one or two places in the mountainous region of Karnali Province.
