Jun 07, Kathmandu - Minister for Health and Food Hygiene Nisha Mehta has said that the government is giving special emphasis to improving the overall health sector.
At a meeting and discussion program organized at the ministry on Sunday, she said that they are focused on making the problems seen in the overall health sector, efforts to solve them, and the upcoming plans effective.
Minister Mehta stated that the government has prioritized health under the 100-day governance reform work and informed that those works are in the final stage.
She said that the activities of the ministry will also be made effective through regular coordination, information and communication.
Secretary of the ministry, Dr. Bikash Devkota, said that the government is committed to providing basic health. He said that the problems seen in the health insurance program will be resolved soon and some work is being done to make the health insurance program a program for everyone.
