May 30, Kathmandu - Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Pranchanda,’ the coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party, has been admitted to hospital. According to his personal secretary, Govinda Acharya, Dahal was hospitalized today at Mediciti Hospital in Lalitpur.

Acharya stated, “He was experiencing mild cold and fever for the past three days. Upon further tests today, pneumonia and blood infection were detected, leading to his hospitalization.”

He added that Dahal is receiving treatment at the hospital and is in stable health. Doctors suggested that staying in the hospital for treatment would be beneficial, and his current condition is normal.
