May 25, Kathmandu - The police have apprehended an individual carrying US dollars while traveling from Kathmandu to Rasuwa. The suspect is 37-year-old Sushil Gurung from Ganga Jamuna Rural Municipality, Dhading.

According to the Rasuwa Police, Gurung was detained on Monday at Betrawoti Bazar in Naugattha, while checking a bus with license plate number Bagmati Province 01-006-Kha 9515 heading towards Timure, Rasuwa. During the search, officers found and seized US$43,000 from him.

Gurung has been taken to the Revenue Investigation Department in Lalitpur for further investigation, police officials stated.
