Police Deployed Outside the House of Abhijeet Dipke, founder of the Cockroach Janata Party

May 24, Kathmandu - Police have been deployed outside the house of Abhijeet Dipke, founder of Cockroach Janata Party (CJP).

Indian media reported that Maharashtra Police were deployed outside Abhijeet's house on Sunday.

According to the BBC, a police officer confirmed that police were deployed outside Abhijeet's house in Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar.

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar Deputy Commissioner of Police Pankaj Atulkar said, "We have provided security after senior officials gave instructions to protect Abhijeet Dipke's house."

He further said, "A police van and an officer have also been deployed there. We will take full care to maintain peace and security there."

Abhijeet has claimed to have received threats in a post on social media. He has also shared some screenshots.

Abhijeet has shared a video on his Facebook handle, in which a young man is seen making derogatory comments about him and his family.

Abhijit informed via Twitter that the Instagram handle of the Cockroach Janata Party has been restored.
