May 24, Kathmandu - An interactive program featuring retired soldiers and active military personnel was successfully conducted at the military headquarters. During the program held on Friday, the Nepalese Army reviewed its responsibilities and key welfare activities since its establishment, while also discussing contemporary issues related to national security.
Army Chief General Ashok Raj Sighdel expressed high appreciation for the ongoing modernization and capacity development of the Nepalese Army. He emphasized the importance of continuous inspiration from senior leadership dedicated to the nation and institutional progress.
The army stated that such programs foster ongoing relationships between serving and retired soldiers. The feedback and suggestions received are expected to contribute to fulfilling national responsibilities and safeguarding overall national interests.
