National Assembly Meeting Postponed for Jestha 13

May 22, Kathmandu - The National Assembly session has been postponed to Jestha 13, as announced by Chairman Narayan Prasad Dahal. The session was scheduled to convene at 1:15 PM but has now been rescheduled.

During the session, the Assembly introduced the Alternative Development Finance Management Bill, 2082. The bill was presented by Secretary Tul Bahadur Kandel amid protests from opposition members. It had previously been passed by the House of Representatives on Thursday amidst noisy protests.

Additionally, the Assembly approved the Cultural Heritage (Protection) Bill, 2081, with consensus after detailed discussions.
