New Ambassadors to Nepal Present Credentials to President Poudel in Ceremonial Ceremony

May 21, Kathmandu - The newly appointed ambassadors to Nepal from four different countries have officially presented their credentials to President Ram Chandra Poudel at a special ceremony held at the President’s residence, Shital Niwas.

In separate ceremonies today, one resident ambassador and three non-resident ambassadors handed over their credentials to the President.

The ambassadors include Alexey Vladimirovich Surovtsev, the resident Russian Federation ambassador, along with non-resident ambassadors Christian Biever from Luxembourg, Dr. Robert Zischg from Austria, and Dr. Mohammad Fathali from Iran.

The ambassadors were chauffeured in a regal carriage from Lajimpat Hotel to the President’s Palace, creating a grand and celebratory atmosphere.

High-ranking officials from the Government of Nepal were also present at the ceremony. The President’s Office organized a ceremonial procession, in which the newly appointed ambassadors traveled in a regal carriage from Lajimpat to the Presidential Palace.
