May 21, Kathmandu - On the eve of the 12th International Yoga Day, a special yoga posture demonstration was held today at the historic UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kathmandu Durbar Square.
Organized by the Embassy of India in Kathmandu, the event aimed to raise awareness about the importance of yoga and promote positive messages for physical and mental well-being.
The program saw active participation from various yoga practitioners and enthusiasts from Kathmandu, who collectively performed different yoga asanas, pranayama, and meditation exercises.
Held at the culturally and spiritually significant Durbar Square, which is listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the event also highlighted the rich cultural heritage associated with yoga practices.
