May 07, Kathmandu - India's Ministry of External Affairs has reaffirmed its commitment to maintaining a "multi-dimensional" relationship with Nepal, emphasizing the uninterrupted supply of petroleum products and chemical fertilizers.
During the weekly media briefing on Thursday, Ministry spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal highlighted the robust trade and strategic cooperation between the two neighbors. Responding to questions about the supply of essential goods to Nepal, he assured that import-export processes are ongoing smoothly.
Jaiswal confirmed that, in accordance with agreements between Nepal and India, petroleum supplies continue without interruption and assured that this arrangement will persist in the future. He also clarified India's positive stance on the sensitive issue of chemical fertilizer supply to Nepal, stating, "We are providing the chemical fertilizers Nepal needs."
