Gold Prices Drop and Silver Prices Rise in Local Market on Sunday

May 03, Kathmandu - Compared to last Friday, gold prices have decreased and silver prices have increased in the local market on Sunday. The price of gold has fallen by Rs 1,000 per tola, while silver has risen by Rs 65.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, today the price of 24-karat gold is Rs 295,100 per tola, and the price of the same amount of silver is Rs 5,010. Last Friday, 24-karat gold was traded at Rs 296,100 per tola, and silver at Rs 4,945.

International media reports indicate that today, the global market price for one ounce of gold is $4,750, and the price of silver is $75 per ounce.
