Top Officials of Tribhuvan University to Resign!

Apr 30, Kathmandu - The Vice-Chancellor, Dean, and Registrar of Tribhuvan University are reportedly set to resign following political appointments that have sparked controversy.

Prof. Deepak Aryal, Vice-Chancellor; Prof. Khadga K.C., Dean; and Prof. Kedar Pasad Rijal, Registrar, are preparing to step down after the government recommended to President Ram Chandra Paudel to dismiss officials appointed through political influence.

Sources revealed that the resignation plans were discussed during a morning meeting, aiming to pave the way for the government's actions. The move comes in response to a recent ordinance proposed by the government to remove political appointees from key positions in the university.

Additionally, Registrar Prof. Rijal was also involved in a controversy related to dual citizenship, further complicating the situation.
