Nepal to Showcase Tech Talent on International Stage with 'Nepal Tech Roadshow 2026' in the US

Apr 27, Kathmandu - Nepal is set to elevate its software and information technology sector to the global arena with the upcoming 'Nepal Tech Roadshow 2026,' scheduled for May 2026 across various cities in the United States. The event is organized by the Nepal Association for Software & IT Services Companies (NAS-IT).

The roadshow aims to connect Nepal’s tech industry with the US market, investors, and the Nepali diaspora worldwide. Its primary goal is to establish Nepal as a reliable and competitive destination for software development, artificial intelligence, data services, and digital transformation.

The flagship event will take place on May 15, 2026, at Embassy Suites by Hilton in Grapevine, Texas. Before that, on May 8, a 'Nepal Tech Connect' networking event will be held in San Francisco, bringing together local entrepreneurs, investors, and tech experts for professional交流.

NAS-IT President and Executive Board Member Richen Shrestha expressed optimism about the global recognition of Nepal’s tech potential. “We possess the talent and experience to forge long-term partnerships worldwide,” he said. “This roadshow is a vital opportunity to showcase Nepal’s tech industry on the international stage and demonstrate the capabilities of our entrepreneurs and engineers.”

The initiative is conducted in partnership with the American Chamber of Commerce in Nepal (AmCham Nepal), local collaborators, and the American Chamber of Commerce in the USA. Dexperts Inc. is the title sponsor, with Focus Health and Fusemachines as sponsors and supporters.

The roadshow will feature representatives from renowned Nepali IT companies such as Bajra Technologies, Biz Serve IT, Citytech Group, Code Pixels Media, Jasper IT, Leapfrog Technology Nepal, Quickfox Technologies, RARA Labs, and TechKraft Inc.

During the event, participating companies will showcase their services and solutions in a 'Company Showcase,' conduct B2B meetings with US startups and investors, and present expert insights into Nepal’s global delivery capabilities.

Prominent speakers, including Richen Shrestha (Quickfox), Himal Karmacharya (Leapfrog), Abhay Poudel (Biz Serve), Shankar Upreti (Hamro Patro), and Kailash Bijayand (AmCham Nepal), will discuss ease of doing business in Nepal and the prospects of US-Nepal trade cooperation.

NAS-IT reaffirmed its commitment to developing Nepal as a global tech hub through such international initiatives, fostering greater collaboration and growth in the sector.
