Gold and Silver Prices Rise in Nepali Market

Apr 26, Kathmandu - Nepal's precious metal market saw an increase in the prices of gold and silver today. Gold per tola rose by NPR 2,700, while silver increased by NPR 50.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of 24-karat pure gold stands at NPR 299,200 per tola. Silver of the same quantity is priced at NPR 4,995. Last Friday, the price of pure gold was NPR 296,500 per tola, and silver was valued at NPR 4,945.

Internationally, the price of one ounce of gold is trading at USD 4,724, and silver at USD 75.
