Nepal Struggles in Opening Match of T20I Series Against UAE

Apr 20, Kathmandu - In the first game of the T20I series against the UAE, Nepal faced a tough start, losing three wickets in the initial Power Play and managing only 40 runs.

Nepal's batting lineup struggled to build momentum after a poor beginning. Openers Kushal Bhurtel and Arjun Saud added 21 runs for the first wicket. Arjun Saud, facing 11 balls and hitting three fours, was bowled out by Zunaed Siddique for 13 runs.

Sandeep Jora, who came in at No. 3, scored 6 runs off 6 balls before falling to Haider Ali. Following his dismissal, Kushal Bhurtel was run out after scoring 16 runs, including one four and one six from nine balls.

Currently, Kushal Malla and captain Dipendra Singh Airee are at the crease. Nepal elected to bat first after winning the toss.
