Dental Service launched at Dhurkot Basic Hospital

Apr 18, Kathmandu - Dental services have started at Dhurkot Basic Hospital in Dhurkot Rural Municipality-6, Gulmi.

Dental services have started at the hospital from today. The hospital will provide services such as tooth extraction, cleaning and medicine.

Medicine and tooth extraction services are included in health insurance. Today, Gulmi Hospital's dental hygienist Sunil Gaire provided the service. From next month, a dental specialist will provide the service.

Dental treatment will be held on the first Saturday of every month. Recently, the hospital has been adding more services.

Eye services have also been added to the hospital four months ago. Municipality Chairman Bhupal Pokharel said that the service was started targeting the poor and disadvantaged citizens of rural areas.

'The constitution has provided for the right to health of all citizens,' he said, 'the government is gradually fulfilling that.'
