Apr 14, Kathmandu - On the first day of the Nepali New Year 2083, Tuesday, gold prices have seen a significant increase in local markets. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers, the price of gold per tola has risen by NPR 3,100.

The federation has set the rate at NPR 299,800 per tola for today. Yesterday, gold was traded at NPR 296,700 per tola. Silver prices also experienced a boost, increasing by NPR 165 to reach NPR 5,065. The previous trading day saw silver traded at NPR 4,900.
