Apr 07, Kathmandu - In Bhokraha Narsingh Rural Municipality-4, a fake exam candidate was apprehended from Prithvi Narayan Secondary School examination center. Based on a special tip-off, a team from the District Police Office detained 20-year-old Nusrat Khatoon of Harinagar-6, who was appearing for the Secondary Education Examination (SEE).
Superintendent of Police Keshav Thabe of the District Police Office stated that Khatun was caught using an admit card issued in the name of her sister-in-law, Salma Azhar. Although she had been participating in the exams since the first day, she was taken into custody today.
It is reported that Salma, who studies in Class 10 at Jamia Islamia Madrasah in Bhojraha-2, is currently in Qatar. The district administration has announced that Khatoon will face appropriate legal action for impersonation, which is against the Education Act.
