Prime Minister Cricket Cup: Tribhuvan Army Club defeats Karnali by 138 runs

Apr 06, Kathmandu - Tribhuvan Army Club defeated Karnali Province by 138 runs in an ODI match held at the Narayani Cricket Ground in Birgunj on Monday.

Army won the toss and elected to bat and scored 268 runs in the stipulated 48 overs. Arjun Saud scored a century and scored 121 runs, while Bashir Ahmed added 45 runs. Chasing a target of 269 runs, Karnali were all out for 130 runs in 42.1 overs. Bipin Shahi scored 40 and Arjun Gharti scored 32 runs. Army's Sahab Alam and Bashir Ahmed took 3 wickets each, while Akash Chand took 2 wickets and Durgesh Gupta and Naren Saud took 1 wicket each.

With this win, Army Club has secured its fifth win in the competition.
