Police Arrest 31 Criminals in 48 Hours

Apr 05, Kathmandu - Police have apprehended 31 individuals involved in criminal activities within 48 hours.
The suspects, who are part of various organized groups engaged in hooliganism and unlawful activities, were taken into custody by the police.

On Friday and Saturday nights, the Kathmandu District Police Office detained 18 suspects from different locations.

The Crime Branch team also arrested 13 individuals, including notorious gang leaders. Among those apprehended are Yuvaraj Gurung, known as Sanubhai from Nuwakot, Ram Babu Acharya, and Sange, also known as Sanjib Lama.

Additionally, the crime branch team detained Sanjib Lama, Ashok Giri, Bikal Bam, and Suresh Gurung, alias Kimjong, among others.

Following the series of arrests, many youths involved in criminal activities, operating in various parts of the Kathmandu Valley, have started leaving the capital.

According to police sources, a list of dozens of active members of these criminal groups has been prepared by the authorities.
