Child Singer Ashok Darji Returns Home After 8 Years!

Mar 30, Kathmandu - After eight years, young singer Ashok Darji has finally returned to his family. From a young age, Ashok gained viral fame with his singing talent and embarked on a journey that included music and acting in films, alongside renowned musician and actor Tanka Budhathoki.

Recently, Ashok has been living with his family in Jhapa, a development confirmed by Tanka himself via Facebook. Tank shared, "Ashok Darji is now capable of moving forward responsibly with his family’s support and decision. The bond we share, along with your love, encouragement, and support, has helped me fulfill my responsibilities as a guardian. We’ve nurtured Ashok with love, education, and guidance, aiming to help him become a hero. It’s been my duty to support him as a caregiver."

According to Tanka, Ashok has been living with his family in Jhapa for the past three to four months and has started schooling there.

Ashok shot to fame at a young age with the viral song "Hiro" and was introduced to the music scene by Tank seven years ago with the hit song "Man Binako Dhan Thulo ki Dhan Binako Man," which garnered significant attention.

This year, Tank also produced a film featuring Ashok titled Man Binako Dhan, released last Kartik, and performed well commercially.

Now, Ashok is set to feature in Tanka Budhathoki’s upcoming film 'Baa Aama' and Nita Dhangana’s 'Parbati'.
