ANNISU Holds Tire Burning Protest Against Chairman Oli's Arrest

Mar 28, Kathmandu - Following the arrest of party chairman KP Oli, the UML's sister organization ANNISU has staged a protest at Bhrikutimandap.

ANNISU held a demonstration by burning tires demanding the immediate release of Oli, who is also a former Prime Minister.

Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak were arrested by the police this morning. As per the party's instructions, a student organization close to the party staged a protest on the streets.

UML has decided to stage a strong protest, saying the government has arrested them for political vendetta.
