Congress Office Bearers Call Meeting after Ramesh Lekhak's Arrest

Mar 28, Kathmandu - The Nepali Congress has called a meeting of its office bearers after the arrest of Ramesh Lekhak, who is also the former Home Minister.

Joint General Secretary Yogendra Chaudhary has informed about the meeting to be held at the party office in Sanepa at 11 am on Saturday.

Lekhak was arrested by the police from Katunje, Bhaktapur on Saturday morning on charges of violently suppressing the Gen-Z movement.

After a medical examination, he has been kept at the police camp in Maharajgunj.

KP Sharma Oli has also been arrested from Gundu, Bhaktapur on the same charge.

He is currently being kept at the TU Teaching Hospital for a medical examination, and the police have said that a decision will be made on where to keep him after the examination.
