Mar 27, Kathmandu - Indian counterpart S. Jaishankar has congratulated and wished Nepal's newly appointed Foreign Minister Shishir Khanal.
In a message on social media, Jaishankar expressed his wish for Khanal's tenure to be successful. He said that he is willing to work closely to further strengthen the traditional relations between Nepal and India.
In his message, Jaishankar described Nepal-India relations as a historic and close partnership and expressed confidence that bilateral cooperation would further expand in the coming days.
Khanal, who became the Foreign Minister in the new Balen Shah-led government, took oath on Friday.
