Mar 27, Kathmandu - In a significant move, the Cabinet has decided to implement the report submitted by the commission led by Gauri Bahadur Karki regarding incidents that occurred on Bhadra 23 and 24. This marks the first Cabinet meeting held after Balendra Shah assumed the Prime Ministership.
Government Spokesperson Sasmit Pokhrel announced that the decision was made to immediately act on the recommendations of the Karki Commission report.
“The commission has recommended certain individuals and entities. A study committee will be formed to examine the recommendations related to security agencies, and actions will be taken as per the committee's advice,” he stated.
Additionally, the government has directed relevant agencies to implement the recommendations made by the Karki Commission regarding other matters without delay.
