NC Calls Central Committee Meeting to Discuss Party's Future and 15th General Convention

Mar 23, Kathmandu - The Nepali Congress has announced a crucial Central Committee meeting scheduled for Tuesday afternoon at 1 PM at the party office in Sanepa. According to Acting General Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal, the meeting will include central committee office-bearers, members, and provincial presidents.

The meeting follows a recent Central Committee session held from Friday to Sunday, during which the party rejected President Gagan Thapa's resignation. After Thapa's resignation was dismissed, a subsequent meeting led by Vice Chairman Bishwa Prakash Sharma conducted an initial review of the party's defeat in the recent elections held on Falgun 21.

It is also reported that tomorrow's meeting will be chaired by President Gagan Thapa. The leaders indicated that the session will focus on preparing the agenda for the upcoming 15th General Convention of the Nepali Congress.
