Nepali Congress Demands that the Karki Commission Report be Made Public

Mar 23, Kathmandu - Nepali Congress General Secretary Pradeep Poudel has urged the government to make public the report of the Gauri Bahadur Karki's Commission on the incidents of Bhadra 23 and 24.

Although the commission submitted its report to the government, the current government led by Sushila Karki is being criticized for not making the report public. General Secretary Poudel said that it is ironic that the government has kept the report secret without making it public, and this has raised suspicions. Poudel said, "The interim government has not yet made public the investigation report submitted to the government by the commission formed under the leadership of Gauri Bahadur Karki to investigate the Gen-Z movement of Bhadra 23 and 24. This has raised many suspicions and doubts."

He questions what is preventing the Karki Commission report from being made public. General Secretary Poudel said that the party central committee meeting has also decided to demand that the government make the report public.
